Tibet Climate Crisis Talk is a live discussion streamed from Facebook, each episode will be hosted by Dr. Lobsang Yangtso, Environment Researcher and Coordinator at International Tibet Network.

Episode 04: Decoding China’s Climate Propaganda

Guest speaker: Gabriel Lafitte is a development policy consultant, he also worked for the environment and development desk of the Tibetan government-in-exile based in India for the last 30 years. He has written for Open Democracy, Chinadialogue, Ethicalpolitics.org. He regularly speaks at both academic conferences but also at activist events around Tibet and nomad issues.

Guest speaker: Dr. Martin A. Mills is Director of the Scottish Centre for Himalayan Research and Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Dr. Mills’ principal research focus is the anthropological study of Tibetan communities, in particular its religious and governmental institutions.
